Danielle joined the 78zin Fashion Team in 2017 as a Senior Print Designer. Her creative flair can be seen across all categories within the fashion department, from clothing to accessories, and her impactful print and pattern designs have contributed towards 78zin’s distinctive and uplifting designs.

Whether it’s painting an original artwork, redrawing a vintage design or putting a design into a repeat pattern, working as a print designer offers a lot of variety in Danielle’s day-to-day role and allows her to be inventive. When the team are generating ideas for new collections, she draws inspiration from artists, photographers, museums and vintage sources, as well as overseas design trips.

The smaller collections that we design for 78zin bring an element of exclusivity, and Danielle enjoys the use of joyful and often unexpected colour combinations and bold patterns that make us stand out from more trend-led high street retailers.

I think it’s important to be confident with your own style and to wear whatever makes you feel happy rather than relying on trends. Life is too short to wear boring clothes, and I love to mix prints and play with scales and colours within an outfit. Pairing bold prints like leopard and floral together might seem unconventional, but it can create an exciting look. An easy way to mix patterns is to combine prints of different scales, too. A small-scale pattern can serve as a solid colour when paired with a larger, bolder design.
